Omega's classic dress watch since 1994: a round case, Roman numerals or batons, a date at three and a leather strap or a five-link bracelet, from 27.5 to 41 mm and in quartz or Co-Axial automatic. The third generation of 2022 brought the Master Chronometer calibre 8800 and a new case with a domed sapphire.
Every Prestige on Dialist is listed by a verified dealer and covered by buyer protection. The 40 mm is the current men's standard; the 34 mm and under sizes carry the women's references, many with diamonds.
The first Prestige of 1994 (the four-digit 4500 and 4800 references) was an ETA-based automatic or quartz in 34.7 and 36.5 mm, Omega's answer to the Rolex Datejust at half the price. The 424. generation of the late 2000s added the Co-Axial calibre 2500 (and the 2627 with a power-reserve display) in 36.8 and 39.5 mm, and became the dress watch Omega sold most.
In 2022 the Prestige was redesigned (434.): a slimmer case with a domed crystal, 40 and 41 mm Master Chronometers (calibre 8800 in the 40, the 8810 with power reserve and small seconds in the 41), 34 mm automatics and 30 and 27.5 mm quartz on the calibre 4061, with lacquered dials and a new bracelet.
Sizes
40 and 41 mm for men on the 2022 line, 39.5 and 36.8 on the 424. watches, 34 mm women's automatic, 30 and 27.5 mm quartz, 32.7 and 24.4 on the older references.
Movements
Master Chronometer 8800 and 8810 (2022–), Co-Axial 2500 and 2627 on the 424. generation, quartz 4061 (a 48-month battery) and 1376 on the small sizes. The quartz watches are the cheapest Omegas on the market.
