Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean

The Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean

Omega's professional diver since 2005: 600 m, a broad unidirectional bezel, arrow hands and a helium valve, built around the Co-Axial calibres and since 2016 certified as a Master Chronometer. It is larger and deeper than the Diver 300M and the Seamaster most people picture when they think of a modern Omega dive watch.

Every Planet Ocean on Dialist is listed by a verified dealer and covered by buyer protection. The 43.5 mm is the standard size; the 39.5 mm suits smaller wrists and the 45.5 mm carries the chronographs.

Three generations to 6,000 metres

The 2005 original (2201.50 at 42 mm, 2200.50 at 45.5 mm, 2901 and 2900 on rubber) ran the Co-Axial calibre 2500 behind an aluminium bezel, with an orange option (2209 and 2208) that became the line's signature. Casino Royale put the 45.5 on Daniel Craig's wrist in 2006.

The 2011 generation (232.) brought the in-house calibre 8500, a ceramic bezel and a display back, in 42 and 45.5 mm. In 2016 the 215. references made it a Master Chronometer: calibre 8900, 43.5 and 39.5 mm cases, ceramic dials on some, and the all-ceramic Deep Black GMT. The Ultra Deep of 2022, rated to 6,000 m, followed Omega's 2019 record dive to the bottom of the Mariana Trench.
