Omega's sports family since 1948: every water-resistant Omega that is not a chronograph has carried the name, and the modern lines each earned a page of their own. The Diver 300M is the Bond watch, the Planet Ocean the 600 m professional diver, the Aqua Terra the everyday dress-sports watch, the Seamaster 300 the 1957 original reborn, the Railmaster the antimagnetic one.
Every Seamaster on Dialist is listed by a verified dealer and covered by buyer protection. The lines above have their own pages; this one also holds the PloProf, the Olympic Games editions, the 1948 anniversary pieces and the 1990s Seamasters that pre-date the modern split.
The first Seamaster of 1948 was a dress watch with a rubber gasket, built on Omega's wartime experience supplying the British forces. The Seamaster 300 of 1957 made it a diver's watch; the PloProf of 1970 took it to 600 m for commercial divers; the Diver 300M of 1993 gave it the wave dial and, from GoldenEye in 1995, James Bond.
The 2000s split the name into lines: the Aqua Terra (2002) for the office, the Planet Ocean (2005) for 600 m, and from 2014 the revived Seamaster 300 and from 2017 the Railmaster. Since 2016 the whole family has moved to Master Chronometer calibres, the Diver 300M in its 2018 relaunch.
