Omega is the other Swiss name everyone knows, and it earned it the hard way: the Speedmaster went to the Moon on NASA's wrist, the Seamaster went to sea with the Royal Navy and then with James Bond, and the Constellation set the observatory records that made Omega's reputation in the first place. Since 2015 Omega has moved most of its range to Master Chronometer movements, certified by METAS for accuracy and resistance to 15,000 gauss.
Every Omega on Dialist is listed by a verified dealer, inspected before shipping and covered by buyer protection. Start with the Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch or the Seamaster Diver 300M, or browse by collection above.
Louis Brandt opened a workshop in La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1848; his sons moved it to Biel and in 1894 produced the 19-ligne calibre they named Omega, so good that the company took its name. Omega has timed the Olympic Games since 1932 and still does.
The modern collections arrived in a burst after the war: the Seamaster in 1948, the Constellation in 1952, and in 1957 the Speedmaster, Railmaster and Seamaster 300 together. NASA qualified the Speedmaster for spaceflight in 1965 and Buzz Aldrin wore one on the Moon in 1969. The Co-Axial escapement of 1999 and the Master Chronometer standard of 2015 define the current movements.
Collections
Speedmaster is the chronograph family, with the hand-wound Moonwatch at its heart. Seamaster covers the dive and sports lines: Diver 300M, Planet Ocean, Aqua Terra, Seamaster 300. Constellation and De Ville are the dress watches.

Steel is the default almost everywhere. Omega's own gold alloys appear as Yellow Gold (Moonshine), Rose Gold (Sedna) and White Gold (Canopus) in our filters; titanium, ceramic and two-tone steel-and-gold are common on the Seamaster lines.
Movements
Co-Axial automatics from the 8xxx and 9xxx families since 2007, Master Chronometer certified from 2015. The Moonwatch stays hand-wound (calibre 3861). Many Constellation and De Ville models are quartz, which keeps their prices low.
Sizes
Most men's Omegas sit between 39.5 and 43.5 mm; the Moonwatch is 42 mm and the Aqua Terra comes in 41 and 38. Women's Constellation and De Ville run from 25 to 34 mm.
Box, papers and warranty
A full set means the red Omega box and the warranty card. Watches sold since July 2018 carry a five-year factory warranty, and since 2021 the card is a digital record. Service history matters more on a Co-Axial than on an older ETA-based calibre.
