Shipping your watch
Four steps at the FedEx counter, about ten minutes in all. Your shipping label is in the email that brought you here; if you cannot print it, the FedEx team will print it for you.
Step 1
Go to FedEx
Take your watch to your nearest FedEx location.
Any FedEx Office or FedEx Ship Centre will do. Find the nearest one at fedex.com/locate.
Step 2
The label
Print the shipping label from the email that brought you here, or ask the FedEx team to print it for you.
If you cannot print it, show the label on your phone and the FedEx team will print it for you. Do not write on the box: the label carries everything.
Step 3
Photograph the watch
Take photos of your watch, including its serial number, making sure to show its condition.
Four or five photos are plenty: the dial, the case back with the serial number, the bracelet or strap, and any marks or scratches you know of, so its condition on the day is on record.
Step 4
Film the packing
Record a video of the watch being wrapped and placed in the box, and stop recording once the FedEx employee has scanned the label.
One continuous take on your phone: the watch going into the box, the box being sealed, and the label being scanned. Keep the receipt FedEx hands you; it carries the tracking number.
Why the photos and video
The photos and video are for your protection. Insurers ask for them on high-value shipments, and your shipment is fully covered. Keep them until your watch has arrived and been checked in.
What happens next
The scan
The moment FedEx scans the label, we email you the tracking number, and you can follow the parcel to its door.
The arrival
We email you the moment your watch arrives, and again as soon as there is news to share.
